• A thoroughly washed polystyrene tray (like the ones you get meat or mince in from the supermarket)
• Papier-mâché
• Green paint
• A large paint brush
• PVA glue

Step 1

Turn the polystyrene tray upside down.

Step 2

Put about 5-6 layers of Papier-mâché on to the polystyrene tray and leave it to dry over night. This strnthens it so that it is less likely to snap if you put your arm down on it

Step 3

Paint it Green

How to Make a Hill Method 2

• One or two polystyrene ceiling tiles
• A Modeling knife
• Green paint
• A large paint brush
• PVA glue
• Filler (optional)

Step 1

Cut the shape you want the hill to be out of a polystyrene ceiling tile. Then cut out another bit of the same shape but a bit smaller.

Step 2

Glue the two pieces together

Step 3 (optional)

Spread the filler around the edges so it is a smooth slope instead of jagged edges. This just makes it look better

Step 4

Paint the whole thing green
